Goal For It!

I have been having a few conversations over the last few days and they have all been centered around stepping out on faith and just doing what you feel that God is calling you to do. Often times I find that we don't do the things that we are called to do because we allow procrastination and the voice of others to overshadow the voice of God. Many things hinder us from living out our life's purpose, but the number one thing is mindset. Not having the right mindset can limit you from doing so many things, including reaching your goals. Wouldn't you rather live the life that you dreamed of instead of continuing to live a life that us unfulfilled? Developing the right mindset and the right attitude can lead you to living the life that you always dreamed of, rather than just continuing to dream. Here are 3 things that you can do to help develop the right mindset to accomplish your goals and reach your destiny!

  1. Set goals for yourself that are clear, measurable and attainable. Often times we don't accomplish our goals because we don't set goals that are clear and that have measurable outcomes. One way to do this is to develop SMART goals. These goals helps you to develop goals that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely. Smart goals are designed to help you reach goals that make sense for what stage of life you are in currently, and to reach them within reasonable timeframes. You can set SMART goals as often as you need to help your dream come to fruition. Setting these types of goals helps with your mindset in that you are able to stay focused and positive because symptoms are in place.

  2. Make sure that you trying to live your dream and not that of other people. Many people are not happy and have a negative mindset because they are not doing what they want to do. Family members, life circumstances. or lack of confidence can push you to set your vision and desires aside so that you can do what is expected of you by others. As a result, you are unhappy and living a life unfulfilled and your dreams and aspirations continue to be an afterthought and never come to fruition. You must always step out on faith and do what you believe that God is calling you to do. It doesn't matter what others think or say. Faith sometimes will make you look foolish, but God always has the final say.

  3. Keep your eyes on the prize. The road to accomplishing your dreams may seem heavy, but remember why you started the journey and what you seek to gain in the end. Having an attitude of determination and a mindset of faith is what will push you to the finish line. Things won't always be easy, but they will always be worth it. The purpose of setting goals is to accomplish them, so you must not let anything stand in your way. God always has our backs and He will never leave us nor forsake us. Knowing that God is on your side is the only motivator and driving force that you need to make it happen.

Mindset and purpose are extremely important when manifesting your dreams. The only thing that can stop you from becoming all that God has called you to be is you. Don't let your mind bully you and don't let your negative attitude stop you from going higher. The sky is the limit, but there is even something beyond the skies. How high do you want to go and how hard are you willing to work to get there? Conquer the demons in your mind. You have the mind of Christ so remember, you are more than a conqueror! #MJConsistencyChallenge #MJConsistencyPays
