Kimberly affectionately known as Kim has been in the field of mental health and addictions for over 19 years. She has a passion for helping others reach their full potential and meeting people right where they are. Kim is dedicated and devoted to this field and has served in various settings and roles in order to make the most effective change in those capacities. Kim also has vast experience in public speaking, coaching and consulting.
In her clinical work, Kim is clinically trained to treat and assess various mental health disorders. Kim specializes in treating anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship issues, as well as, addressing spirituality and cultural issues through individual, couples, family, group, and coaching sessions. Kim has experience working with individuals from all age groups, as well as, various ethnic, cultural, and spiritual backgrounds. Kim believes in treating the whole person and feel that we are connected through our mind, bodies, and spirits.
As certified master life, mindset and business coach, Kim aims her focus on mindset work. Branded as the "Mindset Strategist," she works with women of faith to help them uplevel their lives by teaching key mindset strategies that will allow them to show up confidently in all areas of their lives. Kim brings a unique experience to her coaching in tht she combined her clinical expertise, coaching skills and spiritual principles to create an effective assessment tool to help you overcome mindset deficits. While working with Kim, you will gain the tools necessary to develop a permanent mindset shift so that you no longer be a prisoner of your negative thoughts or bound by your limiting beliefs. Kim has coined the phrase, "I think, I feel, I do," because she recognizes that our thoughts greatly influence our emotions and our behaviors.
Kim was born and raised in Gary, IN and is no stranger to hard work. She is a proud graduate of an HBCU, Hampton University where she obtain her B.A. in Psychology. Kim also obtained her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Kim is currently working on a doctorate of philosophy in Psychology with a specialization in Theology at Liberty University. Her upbringing prepared her to be a servant-leader. She was taught at a very young age to live a life of Christ and to always be mindful of others, treat others as you would like to be treated, and to always help those in need. Kim is proud to continue this legacy through her daughter, nieces, and nephews with leading by example that is greater to give than to receive!
